Top Stories UG is an independent publisher based in Kampala, Uganda. We are responsible for the personal data collected on topstoriesug.com.
What we collect
- Anything you send through our contact or advertising forms: name, email, phone number and message.
- Your name and email if you comment on a story.
- Your email address if you sign up for the newsletter.
- Analytics and advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to send the newsletter you asked for, to understand which stories people read, and to show ads that pay for our reporting. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
- Form entries: deleted after 12 months.
- Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe.
- Comments: for as long as the comment is published.
- Analytics data: as set in Google Analytics (14 months).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Office.
